Mangalore Bicycle Club initiated a nationwide cycle ride on March 6, 2016 to pay our tribute to Indian Defence. This was conducted in collaboration with various cycle clubs across India.  It was a small gesture from our side to the Indian Defence, who are the force behind ensuring peace and stability in our country.

Through this ride on March 6th, we stressed on the significance of Indian Defence in our day today lives and urging all citizens to pay respect to the sacrifices these men make for our nation.

Mangalore event was concluded at War Memorial. Colonel Vikram Dutta and Brigadier Rai along with 20+ ex service men joined us at War Memorial and addressed the gathering.

A letter signed by all participants of the ride from respective clubs were sent to the President of India, the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces once the rides were concluded.
